Website privacy policy

Updated: 5 October 2026

In short

This policy covers the gabanodelab.com website. The GABAnode Utilities browser extension has its own policy: GABAnode Utilities privacy policy.

The website has no accounts and no login. If you use the contact form, your message is emailed to us. The site uses Google Analytics, which sets cookies.

Information you send us

The contact form asks for your name, email address and message, and optionally your organisation. When you send it, that information is delivered to us by email through Resend, an email delivery service. Your email address is used as the reply address so we can answer you. The form does not save your message in a database.

To limit automated abuse, the server counts recent submissions from each internet (IP) address. That count is held in temporary memory only. It is not attached to your message and is not included in the email we receive.

Information collected automatically

  • Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to see how the site is used, such as which pages are visited. It sets cookies in your browser whose names begin with _ga, and sends information to Google, including your IP address. We have set the tag to deny advertising storage, advertising user data and ad personalisation.
  • Fonts. Pages load typefaces from Google Fonts. Your browser requests those files from Google, so Google receives your IP address and the request.
  • Hosting. The site is hosted by Vercel, which handles the requests needed to serve pages.

Cookies

The only cookies this site sets are the Google Analytics cookies described above. There are no accounts, so no sign-in cookies are used.

Your choices

  • You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
  • Google offers a browser add-on that opts you out of Google Analytics.
  • You can email us to ask what we hold from a message you sent, or to ask us to delete it.
